Terms of Use

Please note: By downloading or using Composr, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the developer of Composr ("we", "us") regarding your use of the Composr mobile application and related services (the "App").

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. What Composr Does

Composr is a creative tool that generates original songs and music with AI. You can:

• Type a mood or a few words and have Composr write lyrics, sing them with AI vocals, and produce original music with AI cover art in about a minute
• Pick a photo from your library and turn it into a song
• Choose from dozens of genres — pop, lo-fi, rap, cinematic, jazz, techno, funk, acoustic, and more
• Use instrumental mode to generate beats and tracks with no vocals
• Save your creations in a personal library and share them to Instagram, TikTok, and Stories

3. Composr Pro (Subscription)

A limited free tier is included — your first song is free. To keep creating, some features require a paid subscription, "Composr Pro". Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through your Apple ID, subject to the App Store Terms of Service.

• Composr Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed at $7.99 per week
• It unlocks a weekly allowance of songs, full-quality downloads, and unlimited sharing
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies; we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

4. Your Content

You are responsible for the prompts you type and any photos you choose to use in the App. You confirm you have the right to provide that content, including the right to use any photo you upload.

You grant us a limited licence to process the content you provide solely to operate the features described above (for example, sending your prompt to an AI provider to write lyrics, or analysing your chosen photo to generate a song). We do not claim ownership of the content you provide.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Generate or share content that is unlawful, hateful, infringing, or that violates the rights of others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the App or its servers
• Upload content that is unlawful, malicious, or that you have no right to use

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, text, and logos, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. Trademarks and logos of third-party services shown in or linked from the App belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Composr is a creative, entertainment tool. AI-generated lyrics, music, and cover art are produced automatically and may be imperfect, repetitive, or unexpected.

You remain solely responsible for how you use and share the songs you generate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any charges you incur from third-party services, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the App.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and remove your generated songs from within the App. We may suspend or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
